Another smaller but genuinely useful addition coming to Advanced Records Hub: a live duty HUD showing exactly how many LEO, FIRE, STAFF, and CIVS are currently online.
This replaces the old emsblips / duty-hud resources we were using, which relied on Discord roles to figure out who was "on duty." Now the entire system runs directly through ARH.
LEO & FIRE update automatically as players clock in and out at their stations. Since it's tied directly into the ARH roster, the number you see actually represents who's working.
STAFF can toggle their duty status using:
/arhstaffduty
Admins can also toggle another player's staff duty status:
/arhstaffduty [player id]
CIVS are handled automatically. Anyone online who isn't currently clocked in as LEO, FIRE, or STAFF is counted as a civilian.
The same system also handles live on-duty player blips.
While you're clocked in, you'll be able to see other on-duty FIRE and LEO personnel moving around the map in real time. Players who aren't on duty don't receive any of that data, keeping the map clean for everyone else.
The HUD only updates when something actually changes rather than constantly broadcasting the same information over the network.
Like the rest of ARH, it's configurable. Server owners can change the tags/emojis for each duty type, their display order, and how frequently the HUD and player blips refresh.
It's a relatively small feature, but it's another step toward having ARH act as the actual source of truth for who's working, rather than having multiple resources trying to keep track of the same thing.
